We’ve come a long way in learning how to live with depression and bipolar disorder. However, we still need to find answers about why it happens, how it affects people, and how best to treat it.
The goal of depression and bipolar disorder research is to help people. Researchers are trying to understand what causes mood disorders, what treatments and wellness strategies work and for whom they work. Anyone who has tried several treatment strategies before finding the best one for them knows that we need to improve how we treat mood disorders. Researchers agree, and they need our help.
